What do you enjoy most about this class?
I really enjoy that everything we do in physics is hands on. It is very hard, but not usually boring. I really like doing all the experiments, even though I don't really always understand the physics behind it. What are your areas of strength in this class? Something that I am good at is learning from my mistakes. At the beginning I won't understand something, but the more we learn it, the more I understand. At the end of the project I can usually help some people. What are areas where you can improve or grow? (Show evidence) I need to improve on asking questions. In physics, when I don't understand, I usually just sit there without asking questions. I get very confused, and just hope that someone else asks questions, or understands. What is your plan to follow through with this improvement or growth? I am going to use my notebook and write down everything I understand, and everything I don't. I will ask questions at the end, or ask my peers. Describe your study habits. My study habits for this class are the same as the others. We don't have much physics homework, which I like. It is a very challenging subject. It is hard in class, it would be twice as hard doing it alone. Describe your classroom behavior and participation. It is really the same as math. I sit by the same people, so it isn't much different. I participate less in Physics than math. I don't ask many questions, and there aren't many to answer. In what ways can you improve on either study habits and/or behavior as the year progresses? Classroom Behavior and Participation- As I said, I want to ask more questions and take more notes to understand physics better. Study Habits- I want to fix the procrastination too. When we get homework in physics, I wait until the last minute to finish it. |
