During this project we explored the world of probability through programming a game. The game had to involve "chance" and throughout the project we used different tools to help us understand chance better. We were expected to learn about probability through making graphs, using equations, probability trees, and many other ways. This benchmark was our final game. We turned in our final edited game for people to play at exhibition. At this point, we were working on the game for a few weeks. I felt very happy with my final game. My game changed a lot over the course of the project, but I was still happy with the final product. This benchmark was very important to the project because this is what visitors saw and played when they came to exhibition. It was probably the most stressful out of all of them because our game had to be perfect and working smoothly at this time. To play my game, click the "reset" button then the "start game" button. Once you click "start game" you will notice that the fire will start to move. To move your character use the arrow keys on the keyboard. You can move forwards, backwards, left, and right. The goal is to get to the other side without getting hit with it. You will lose points and get sent back to start if you get hit. If you make it across successfully, you will gain points. |
